We all want to live healthy lives. We want to feel well. We want to do what we can to avoid having health issues. And even though being healthy will help us live less stressful lives, the stress in our lives is keeping us from living more healthy. We get caught up in the vicious cycle of not having enough energy and inspiration to make the changes that will help us to feel well and not feeling well because we aren’t doing the things that we need to do to be healthy.
When we get desperate enough to make some lifestyle changes, we don’t know where to start. We get overwhelmed by the thought of how much work lays ahead of us and it paralyzes us. I know this because I’ve experienced it. I am a super sensitive soul - officially I’m diagnosed with MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities) and Hashimoto’s which is an autoimmune dis-ease of the thyroid. I have had many moments of overwhelm and desperation, especially not being able to get solutions through the mainstream medical system. I’ve had to figure out how to help myself. I have discovered many natural remedies and healing modalities which have made a significant difference to my well being, but one of the most profound was my qigong practice.
I began practicing qigong for many years ago. I somehow stumbled onto a qigong dvd and decided to try it on a whim. I only did part of the sequence and I’m sure I was not doing any of the moves correctly yet I noticed an immediate difference in how I felt. My creaky and stiff joints softened and getting up after a period of inactivity was suddenly easier. I knew I discovered treasure. Since then I’ve practiced qigong daily and I’ve noticed that it strengthens my immune system. I practice even when I’m not feeling well because I know it will help me to feel better, faster.
I reached a point where I wanted to go deeper in my practice and I heard an amazing story about a qigong master named Robert Peng. He had been healed of a debilitating heart condition as a child by a qigong master and went on to secretly apprentice with him. He had a powerful spiritual experience when he spent a 100 days meditating and fasting in a dark, underground chamber deep in the mountains of the Chinese countryside. His master visited him daily and instructed him in advanced practices to accelerate his spiritual development and now he is healer and teacher of this ancient practice.
I started to do Robert Peng’s daily practice and it made a huge difference to the quality of my life. The benefits continued and expanded as I practiced. I was impressed with Robert’s teachings and I wanted to learn from him in person but it was not possible at the time. A couple of years ago, Robert Peng began offering a new course teaching an ancient form of qigong called Yi Jin Jing. His course included live webinars where you can ask Robert questions directly. This was the next best thing to learning with him in person so I signed myself and my daughter up without a moment’s hesitation.
I’ve been practicing Yi Jin Jing everyday since and it has taken my qigong practice and my physical well being to a whole other level. I’ve been building muscles and my body is getting toned, without trying. I feel so well since beginning this practice that if I have a busy morning and I have to choose whether to skip eating or qigong, I’d skip eating.
“Yi Jin Jing is a powerful practice popularized by the fighting monks of the legendary Shaolin Temple. Originally, these monks slouched over religious texts and prayed for many hours. As a result of their sedentary lifestyle, they suffered from poor posture, backaches, tight shoulders, and neck pain. The legend was that a famous wandering monk named Damo (Bodhidharma) developed the practice of Yi Jin Jing to transform the bookish monks into spiritual martial artists of the highest order. At the highest levels of development, Yi Jin Jing transforms even the smallest framed individual into a mighty human being capable of incredible feats of strength and kindness.”
I’ve been recommending this program to my family, friends and clients for years because I know how much of a gift it is. I am now officially an Ambassador for the program which means I get a little bonus if you sign up through my affiliate link below:
